Steps Of Replacement

Introduction

Here we will guide you to install Techie laptop DDR3/DDR4 RAM. The installation of RAM is a quick and easy process. To demonstrate the replacement we will be using a Laptop with DDR4 Ram slot. The procedure will be similar for all laptop models that have DDR4 or DDR3 Slots. But the DDR3 and DDR4 Ram front will be differ and they both have different slots.

Note: Make sure your laptop is not connected to any power source and it is turned off.
 

Step 1: Shut down your laptop and disconnect with all power sources.

Step 2: Flip the device, remove the back case and find the memory slot for DDR3 RAM on the motherboard.

Note: Make sure to ground yourself by touching any plastic surface.

Step 3: Push open the retainer clips on opposite sides and position the DDR3 RAM in the slot at an elevated angle.

Step 4: Once the Laptop DDR3 RAM front is fitted, gently push down the RAM to expand the retainer and it will fit the slot perfectly with the sound of click

Step 5: Techie laptop ram is installed now and ready to use.
